Do you bring your own equipment?
Sure do!
We bring along our own set of specialized cleaning products and equipment to get the job done efficiently. We prefer using our own gear as it ensures consistent results every time. However, there's just one small exception – we will borrow your toilet brush during the clean. We promise to take good care of it and return it to its rightful place once we're done sprucing up your space!
Do I need to be home?
Nope, not at all.
If you’re not home, please just make sure that there’s a safe way for us to get access. Some clients give us access to their Key Safes, and some simply leave a key under the mat. Always consider the safety of your home when you’re making this decision!
Do I need to leave?
Absolutely not, it’s your house and you are of course welcome in it! We’ll do our best to reduce our impact in your space.
Please just consider that we generally have an order that we do things, so if you’re occupying the kitchen while we would normally tackle the kitchen, for instance, that area may need to be missed during your clean.
We generally make a bit of a racket, and can sometimes cause more mess before we make an improvement… So it can be more comfortable for you if you’re not home.
Can my dog/ cat be home?
Of course, but please know that their safety is ultimately your responsibility. We’ll do our best to keep them comfy, however our time is best spent cleaning, not wrangling animals!
Do I have to tidy before you come?
Not necessarily. We understand that life can be hectic, so we don’t expect you to have the house tidy for us. Just keep in mind that the easier a surface is to clean, the better we will be able to use our time to clean it.
Areas that are completely inaccessible (laundry bench covered in laundry, for example) will just be skipped for that clean.
Do you charge by the hour?
No, we charge by the house/ job. Cleaners (and humans in general) operate at different speeds and efficiencies, so it doesn’t make sense for us to charge by the hour. We let you know exactly what will be done, and then we do it. Regardless of how long it takes us, you will always get the same result = a clean house.
